Many have discovered the pwnage auto update for 2.0.1 is not working and have had to manually download the pwnage 2.0.2 image. For those having problems with pwnage 2.0.2 where pwnage works fine but when it’s done apps are crashing like Cydia and some other things, the issue is most likely caused by your pwnage app image you downloaded being extracted incorrectly. Here are some facts you need to get this part right:
1) Do not download the zip image going around. This does not have proper permissions. Cydia won’t be able to install apps.
2) Do not use “The Unarchiver” to extract the tbz image. I opened a command terminal and used: tar -jxvf PwnageTool_2.0.2.tbz
3) If you have the corrupted image you need to download pwnage again from the proper dev team recommended link and extract it correctly. Then repeat the process.
