I updated my cydia this morning to find a new app called, ‘SBSettings’ at first I just figured it was another toggle copy cat but with a deeper look into I come to find this application was joint wiork between BigBoss and iPodTouchMaster.

Thanks to Zataang (quickgold author) we now have an updated BossPrefs and Categories for 2.1. Zataang wrote a mobile substrate plugin to springboard called SpringBridge that allows the launch application functions to work again. I have since updated Categories and BossPrefs.

I updated BossPrefs today to version 2.12b. The changelog can be viewed in the link but one feature that is worth calling out. I added an apple killswitch neuter button. This will allow you to turn off Apple’s killswitch.
This quick update of BossPrefs provides a couple small fixes:
First, I found a way (thanks to Erica Sadun) to toggle EDGE without resetting the Comm Center. This makes the EDGE toggle nice and fast, ans you won’t have to reenter your SIM pin (I think).

I updated BossPrefs today to v2.0.6b for firmware 2.0 only. This version adds some new features for hiding icons. This paves the way for Categories which I plan to start on immediately. Here are the formal changes:

Ok I already knew it was virus / spyware free, but SoftPedia granted BossPrefs a safe software award. It’s interesting. They actually have quite a bit of iPhone software on there - all of which can be, and should be installed from Installer / Cydia instead.

BossPrefs v1.73 is out to fix a reported issue where poof / power do not show up. Turns out that if you never added icons to your dock, v1.72 will not show power / poof icons until you add some other icons to your dock using the “more”,”dock icons” button. Fixed.
