Suicide or Homicide?

According to Chinese media reports, on July 16th a Foxconn employee killed himself after losing a prototype of the newest version of the iphone. Sun Danyong, 25, apparently committed suicide after he realized the 4G prototype he was responsible for was missing.
Sun had received 16 prototypes from the assembly line at Foxconn. He was responsible for shipping the devices to Apple. Over the next several days Sun discovered the device was missing. According to reports, the young man reported the missing device and was then subjected to illegal search of his home. Sun was then detained and physically abused according to some reports.
The case has yet to be translated into English by any major news source so many details are still unclear. Some sources have reported that this was not Sun’s first indiscretion which may have contributed to the harsh actions taken by Foxconn, his employer. According to surveillance footage, the young man leaped from his apartment window to his death. Chinese authorities are continuing their investigation into this tragic death.
Apple is known for its ability to create new and exciting technologies so it is no surprise that an employee in the position Sun was in would be under extreme pressure to keep his work a secret. I can’t help but wonder however, could this be something more malicious?
Any thoughts?

Possibly, never really thought about it being an act of murder, though the Chinese seem to be brought up in a stressfull environment as kids, and that life style seems to carry over to their older years too, which would lead me to think that considering the mental stress the worker must have endured knowing what he had lost and that his life could possibly be over after apple was through with him, the worker must have decided it wasn’t worth going though life.
On the other hand the worker had really pissed off Apple by losing a prototype and Apple could very well have had him killed and got away with it no questions asked easily considering what they make and how much money goes to them, but I can only say my opinion, let’s hear from some others
